Each time my bag wears out I look around for a LIGHTWEIGHT bag that will serve my needs. It always comes back to this bag. I use it everyday and for traveling. It's big enough that you can stuff a hat, spare socks, even light shoes if you need to. And it can be zipped smaller when you don't need it. And all of the pockets (except one) zip completely closed which is very important to me. I noticed that there are now metal connections on the straps - I know another reviewer had requested these. I'm not sure they are better, I think they are heavier, but it's not a big difference. This new zinc color that I bought turns out to be a very nice change from my basic black. They last about 5 years. Best not to wash them though, since some of the fabric will get pilly if you do.

Love how light weight this handbag is - and it holds everything you need and has just the right number of pockets. The adjustable strap is very handy - left it longer during the day and wore it across my body (while traveling) and shortened it at night for going out to dinner. I continue to use it as my every day bag at home because it's so perfect. I also love that every pocket/opening has a zip - very secure. Color is kind of like a muddy slate - not exactly what I thought from the photo, but I'm OK with it.

The color is perfect. It matches my shoes for the summer. The zippers are strong and the pocketbook is sturdy.
